A provably fair giveaway picker uses cryptographic commitment schemes (built on SHA-256 hashing) to mathematically guarantee that winner selection cannot be manipulated. Before any entries close, our server publishes a cryptographic hash of a secret random seed. After the giveaway ends, the secret seed is revealed. Anyone can enter the giveaway data into our independent browser verification tool to prove that the exact winners were selected mathematically without bias.
Which platforms and giveaway formats are supported?
Fair Giveaways supports: 1) Instagram (comments on posts from Professional accounts), 2) YouTube (comments on public videos), 3) Facebook (comments on Facebook Page posts), and 4) Custom Giveaways (hosted web entry pages collecting emails, bulk CSV uploads, or REST API submissions). All giveaway types share the same provably fair cryptographic verification.
What are Custom Giveaways and when should I use them?
Custom Giveaways are ideal when you want to run a giveaway without tying it to a social media comment section. Can I select multiple winners in a single giveaway?
Yes. You can configure between 1 and 100 winners per draw. Every winner is selected independently using the provably fair PRNG algorithm with equal odds across all eligible participants.
How does Fair Giveaways prevent duplicate entries?
You have full control over entry limits. In social comment giveaways, you can choose whether multiple comments count as extra entries or enforce 1 entry per username. On premium plans, you can also specify an exact 'Maximum entries per user' cap.
How can participants verify the giveaway results?
